My answer would depend on the situation. If I was being abused and my life was in danger, I would try to escape right away, despite the risks. If my life as a slave was tolerable, I would take more time to plan my escape.
I don’t believe I’m strong enough to try to escape my “master.” I would attempt to come up with plans after learning the routines of the people in the area and have an escape tactic. However, I surely wouldn’t stay put and have my freedom depend on being rescued by others.
What would you do if you were enslaved? Would you take the risk to trying to escape or would you hope to be rescued? I would like to think that if I was enslaved, I would run away. Realistically, in that situation I would probably be too scared to risk my life and the chance of being brutally punished.
What would you do if you were enslaved? Would you take the risk to trying to escape or would you hope to be rescued? ---- Honestly, if I were enslaved, I wouldn't know what to do. Being free right now, I'm thinking that I would try to escape, but in the moment under the conditions, I probably would not be that brave.
